Dr Kenneth Omona Olusegun, the Principal Private Secretary(PPS) to the President of the Republic of Uganda decided to offer free guidance on his personal Twitter (X) account online to Oceng Geoffrey Orsbon the Lamwo Resident District Commissioner.
The RDC had gone online tweeting on his Twitter (X) account that he was due for his master’s thesis defence at Gulu University leading to the award of Master of Arts in History of Gulu University and would bring the hectic two years to an end.
“Congratulations, best of luck, add value. My neighbor said you shouldn’t remind examiners that you are the R…Lamwo”. Dr Omona Joked online.
Oceng Orsbon when contacted after announcing a successful thesis defence online again told the Elephant that he followed the advice of Dr. Omona and never said anything relating to his work since he was a student in that context.
“It was a success and I’m very proud of my supervisors who stood with me till the end”. Oceng told the Elephant on the Phone.
For two years Oceng researched The National Resistance Movement Government Approach to Land in Northern Uganda: A Case of Amuru District as the document he defended awaiting graduation on February,9th 2024 when Gulu University shall hold its 19th graduation and His Excellency the President of Uganda is expected to be the Chief Guest at the Function.
