Gen. Salim Saleh also known as Caleb Akandwanaho the Chief Operation Wealth Creation commander has on Saturday 11th of May 2024 been enumerated from his home at Te-dam Cell, Bardege Parish in Layibi -Bardege division, Gulu City.
The Census Enumerator team led by Te-dam Local Councillor one, Adong Rose Ocira comprising of Opiyo Cosmas subcounty supervisor, Staff sergeant Draparaku Isaac, Bardege Parish supervisor, and Yiko Jeremy enumerator Te-dam Cell all camped at the home of the General for about an hour entering his data.
The calm General answered all the questions posed to him by the team and advised all Ugandans to embrace the exercise since it is one of the greatest planning assets for Uganda.
“I’m finally happy the Census People are finally here, On Friday, I suspended all my activities waiting for them but nobody came”. He said.
He thanked the area LC1, Adong Rose for walking to his home to confirm that indeed he is enumerated.
He also expressed happiness saying the activity brought him his long-time friend, Staff Sergeant Draparaku Isaac from Nakasongola Army school in 1999.
The excited team then joined the General for a group picture after the activity.
The National Census exercise which started May 10th is going to run up to the 19 May 2024.
